How to ConnectStep 1: Open Connections- Open the Cadoo app
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Tap Connections or Connect Tracker
Tap the tracker you want to connect from the list.
Step 3: Authorize- For Apple Health / Google Fit: Grant permissions when prompted by your phone
- For Fitbit, Garmin, Whoop, and others: You'll be redirected to their website to sign in and authorize Cadoo to access your fitness data
After connecting, you should see a green "Connected" status next to your tracker in Settings > Connections.
Important: Connect BEFORE Joining a ChallengeYou must connect your fitness tracker before joining a challenge. Data from before your connection will not be retroactively synced.
Multiple TrackersYou can connect multiple trackers to Cadoo simultaneously. However, for each challenge, Cadoo will use the primary tracker that matches the challenge's activity type.
Syncing Your DataAutomatic SyncMost trackers sync data to Cadoo automatically through our integration partner (Terra). After a workout:
- Make sure your tracker synced to its own app (Fitbit app, Garmin Connect, etc.)
- Cadoo will pull the data within 10–15 minutes
If data isn't appearing:
- Open your tracker's app and force a sync
- Open Cadoo and pull down to refresh on your challenge page
- Go to Settings > Connections and tap your tracker to check status
- Go to Settings > Connections
- Tap the connected tracker
- Tap Disconnect
Note: Disconnecting a tracker during an active challenge may cause your challenge progress to stop updating. Reconnect before the challenge ends to avoid losing credit.
Troubleshooting"Connection failed"
- Check your internet connection
- Make sure you're logged into your tracker's app
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
"Data not syncing"
- See our detailed guide: Steps Not Counting? Tracker Sync Guide
"Tracker not listed"

"Duplicate activities"
- If you see duplicate workouts, you may have multiple trackers recording the same activity
- Disconnect one of the overlapping trackers
- Cadoo only accesses the fitness data types needed for challenges (steps, activities, duration, etc.)
