Quick Fix (Try This First)
  1. Open your fitness tracker app (Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin, etc.) and make sure it shows your latest data.
  2. Open Cadoo and pull down to refresh on your challenge page.
  3. Wait 5–10 minutes — syncing can take a few minutes, especially after a workout.
Apple Health (iPhone) Steps Not Syncing
  1. Go to iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Cadoo
  2. Make sure Steps is toggled ON (green)
  3. Open the Health app and verify your steps are showing there
  4. Open Cadoo and go to Settings > Connections — make sure Apple Health shows "Connected"
Common Issues
  • Apple Watch steps: Steps from your Apple Watch sync to Apple Health automatically, then to Cadoo. Make sure your watch is connected to your iPhone.
  • Manual entries won't count: Only steps recorded automatically by your device are eligible for challenges. Manually added steps are excluded.
Fitbit
  1. Open the Fitbit app and sync your tracker (pull down on the dashboard)
  2. Open Cadoo and go to Settings > Connections
  3. If Fitbit shows "Disconnected," tap to reconnect
  4. Make sure your Fitbit device has been worn and synced recently
Common Issues
  • Battery died? Steps recorded while the battery was dead won't be captured. Keep your Fitbit charged during challenges.
  • Sync delays: Fitbit data can take 15–30 minutes to appear in Cadoo after syncing.
Garmin
  1. Open the Garmin Connect app and make sure it synced your latest activity
  2. Check Cadoo Settings > Connections — Garmin should show "Connected"
  3. If disconnected, tap to reconnect through Garmin Connect
Common Issues
  • Multiple Garmin devices: Make sure your primary device is set correctly in Garmin Connect.
  • GPS activities: Activities like runs and walks should auto-sync. If they don't, try a manual sync in Garmin Connect first.
Whoop
  1. Open the Whoop app and verify your strain data is current
  2. Check Cadoo Settings > Connections for Whoop status
  3. Whoop syncs activity data (not steps) — make sure your challenge type matches what Whoop tracks
Google Fit (Android)
  1. Open Google Fit and verify steps are showing
  2. In Cadoo, go to Settings > Connections and check Google Fit status
  3. If disconnected, tap to reconnect
Common Issues
  • Battery optimization: Android may kill background apps. Go to Settings > Battery > Cadoo and disable battery optimization.
  • Permissions: Make sure Cadoo has permission to access Google Fit data.
Peloton, Oura, Suunto, & Others
  1. Check your tracker's app for the latest data
  2. Go to Cadoo Settings > Connections and verify the connection status
  3. If disconnected, tap the tracker name to reconnect
  4. Cadoo syncs data through Terra — allow 10–15 minutes after a workout for data to appear
Still Not Working? Force Reconnect
  1. Go to Cadoo Settings > Connections
  2. Tap your connected tracker
  3. Tap Disconnect
  4. Wait 30 seconds
  5. Tap Connect and follow the prompts to reconnect
Check Your Challenge

Make sure your challenge tracks the right activity type:

  • Walking challenges → Need step data from your tracker
  • Workout challenges → Need activity/workout data
  • Push-up/sit-up challenges → Need video workout submissions (not tracker data)
