Game Dates and Times

I've completed a challenge, but don't see a payout?

All games have a 72-hour "grace period" after the game's end date. This is to allow activity trackers to sync, missing activity disputes, and any forms of communication between the team and participants to happen. On the 4th day, games are then automatically 'paid out' and they are then considered "finalized". Finalized games cannot be disputed, for missing activities nor monetary losses.

When is the latest to join a game?

Game pages that a participant has not joined yet, has an "Entry Deadline" date. This is important to note if you wish to join the game at a later date or wish to share with friends. After the entry deadline date has passed, the game is no longer searchable in the app.

  • If the game has a daily requirement to complete, the start date and entry deadline are always the same.

When time do games end?

Every game ends at 11:59 pm of the participant's timezone of the game "end date". Please be very wary and cautious if the entry deadline and end date are the same, and ensure you have enough time to complete the game before joining. If you do not believe you have enough time to finish the game, please don't fret - there are a variety of challenges that are always ongoing.

If someone has already completed the game or reached the goal ahead of me, should I join / continue?

YES. Participating in games should be self-driven and motivated to reach the goal or completion for your own accountability, regardless of others' actions or statuses. Games can also be used to challenge another person or group of people, so if you do not know other participants in real life, such as your friends, neighbors, family members, co-workers, etc, please do not view the games as a competition ground.

How are people tracking activities from days before the activity starts?

Cadoo welcomes a worldwide audience, in all 24 time zones. Every participant, regardless of their location in the world, has the same start date and time and the same end date and time. All games start at midnight of the start date, and respectively ends at 11:59 pm of the end date of the participant's time zone. If you see that a participant has started on a different day than you, it's simply because they are on the other side of the GMT/UTC or International Date Line. If they have started the game "the day before" you, the last day of the game will always be "the day before" you.
